The Halo Experience...

Last Friday (07.04.2006) I went to our local mall and bought a XBOX for 99 euros and Halo 2 for 19.90 euros. I previously talked about getting either a MP3 player or a PSP. However, looking around the game section for the PSP did not convince me of buying it, and all the other peripherals around the PSP are neither attractive. I was also concidering buying an Ipod, but somehow I dont really like the Ipod and the vendor lockdown regarding music. If I were to buy a MP3 player, I'd go for the new flashstick MP3 players from Sony. These players are sleek, small, and for being designed by Sony, it really looks good too. The 1GB model with built in FM radio is the one I really could think of buying.

Now, you might be wondering, why the heck is he writing about Microsoft Xbox in this blog? Well, I've said it before (at least I think I have) Microsoft can do hardware products, just look at their keyboards and mice. Sleek, ergonomic and robust. The old Natural PS/2 keyboard I have still works, but because I switched to a Mac mini, I had to buy a new keyboard too, and yes, it was an ergonomic keyboard from Microsoft. Besides, I must have some fun once in a while, and Halo 2 surely fulfills that need :)

Apple spring clearing...

Today I recieved an email for "Miglia TVmini with EyeTV 2.0 - DTT", a product according to the description says that "Miglia?s TVMini allows you to watch, pause, record and rewind free-to-air Digital Terrestrial Television (DTT) on your Mac.". Only 99.95Euros with free shipping.

I was thinking about buying it, but I've got a sneaky supicious feeling that there will be something more of a "evolutionary" product from Apple will be available in autumn. Well, one can hope at least...
